چکیده

Probiotics are known to provide the host with immune-modulatory effects, which is widely used for treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), diarrhea, and ulcers.Lactobacillus acidophilus KLDS 1.0901, Lactobacillus helveticus 1.8701, plantarum 1.0318 were isolated from Chinese fermented dairy food antibacterial activity, antioxidant immunomodulatory respectively. This study evaluated anti-inflammatory potential tested strains in LPS (Lipopolysaccharide)-induced RAW264.7 cells. The results showed that all could inhibit mRNA expression iNOS COX-2 reduce concentration NO PGE2 production. Furthermore, markedly reduced proinflammatory cytokines' production (TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6). Moreover, these may be associated inhibiting TLR4-mediated NF-κB MAPKs signaling pathway activation. These indicated L. possesses an a molecular basis regarding development functional probiotic products.

Baicalin Alleviates Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Liver Inflammation in Chicken by Suppressing TLR4-Mediated NF-κB Pathway

As a kind of potent stimulus, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) has the ability to cause cell damage by activating toll-like receptor(TLR)4, then nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) translocates into the nucleus and changes the expression of related inflammatory genes. Baicalin is extracted from Radix Scutellariae, which possesses anti-inflammation, antioxidant and antibacterial properties. However, the effe...

Monascin ameliorate inflammation in the lipopolysaccharide-induced BV-2 microglial cells via suppressing the NF-κB/p65 pathway

Objective(s): The pathophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases is complicated, in which inflammatory reactions play a vital role. Microglia cells activation, an essential process of neuroinflammation, can produce neurotoxic molecules and neurotrophic factors, which aggravate inflammation and neuronal injury. Monascin, a major component of red yeast rice, is an azaphil...

Abrogating ClC-3 Inhibits LPS-induced Inflammation via Blocking the TLR4/NF-κB Pathway

This study investigated the function of a chloride channel blocker, DIDS. Both in vitro and in vivo studies found that DIDS significantly inhibits lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced release of proin flammatory cytokines. Here, we show that DIDS inhibits LPS-induced inflammation, as shown by downregulation of inflammatory cytokines via inhibition of the TLR4/NF-κB pathway. Furthermore, we show tha...

Magnolol Inhibits LPS-induced NF-κB/Rel Activation by Blocking p38 Kinase in Murine Macrophages.

This study demonstrates the ability of magnolol, a hydroxylated biphenyl compound isolated from Magnolia officinalis, to inhibit LPS-induced expression of iNOS gene and activation of NF-κB/Rel in RAW 264.7 cells. Immunohisto-chemical staining of iNOS and Western blot analysis showed magnolol to inhibit iNOS gene expression. Reporter gene assay and electrophoretic mobility shift assay showed tha...

Aspirin inhibits osteoclastogenesis by suppressing the activation of NF-κB and MAPKs in RANKL-induced RAW264.7 cells

Aspirin is a commonly used medicine as an effective antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug. Previous studies have demonstrated its potential effects of anti-postmenopausal osteoporosis, while the molecular mechanisms remain unclear. The effects of aspirin on receptor‑activator of nuclear factor κB (NF‑κB) ligand (RANKL)‑induced osteoclasts were investigated in RAW264.7 cells in the c...
